Seattle/King County Clinic Listening Project
We are excited to share an opportunity to participate in the Listening Project at the Seattle King County Clinic. This event is open to AHEC Scholars and HCOP Ambassadors and will occur on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 at the Seattle Center.
The Listening Project focuses on story-gathering! Students will learn about attendees’ perceptions of health, their experiences accessing care, and their perspectives on what health care providers should know about providing good care. This opportunity allows students to practice clinical listening and communication skills, as well as self-reflection and empathy, as they navigate the clinic and speak to clinic patients. AHEC Scholars can earn Clinical Fieldwork or Didactic hours through participation.
Sign-up now for a morning or afternoon shift. Space is limited, so please apply at this registration link by April 4, 2025; you will be notified of your shift by April 7th. We look forward to seeing you there!
