Who we are

The Washington Area Health Education Center (AHEC) works towards improving health outcomes in rural and under-resourced communities across our state through partnerships with academic programs, healthcare institutions and primary care organizations.

The WA AHEC Program Office at the University of Washington School of Medicine supports four Centers: AHEC for Western Washington, Central Washington AHEC, Eastern Washington AHEC, and Southwest Washington AHEC.
